‘I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed the Stop! Come! Click! course. It’s been so useful and I’ve got loads to work on with Elsa. The exercises are particularly helpful as I’ve struggled to know how to teach stop, leave it etc. Having so many variations of how to teach the exercise, so the dog learns to generalise, was also really helpful. Learning the theory and why dogs struggle with predatory chase was very interesting as well and helped me understand why Elsa behaves like she does! Thank you for all your amazing advice. I’ve learnt so much and I look forward to joining another course in the future!’
‘I believe that Jane’s own struggles with predatory chase, together with her application of theory and behaviour, has been expertly distilled into a good user friendly, fun and inspirational programme.
The structure was clear and logical. The course was delivered in concise weekly sections that were clearly laid out and easy to follow. Each week included a list of topics and tasks for the week with clear step by step guides and instructional videos.
At the start of each week, Jane hosted a webinar, which discussed each week’s topics and tasks, with the opportunity to ask questions and points of clarification. These were well planned and interesting. The webinars provided a personal touch and Jane’s knowledge, interest and passion is very apparent.
‘I have been a member of WaggaWuffins online canine community for 3 months now and I have learnt so much already! All the videos are professionally filmed and set in great training venue. The training videos are fun, full of information and very easy to follow. I have really enjoyed learning from Jane, she is very knowledgeable and explains the reasons to why you would teach your dog a certain behaviour so well. I can’t wait for all the new and exciting videos to come in 2017’
‘I am awaiting a puppy so was keen to prepare in advance by looking through some of the puppy course but also have it to dip in and out of when the pup arrives. The online community is ideal for that.I also did a mindfulness course in the past so that subject really appeals too and is super to find that subject on here as well. And now I see gundog stuff too…fab!! We did some preliminary gundog training with Jane this year but it’s easy to forget all the different parts to it so again great to refresh the brain! I used to live in the Highlands and different types of dog training was very limited so this would have been ideal if it had been around then. Some dogs don’t cope well with a hall environment and this means one can keep up to speed without having to attend weekly classes that not everyone has access to. Many thanks Jane your videos make it very easy to grasp the task in hand and I am looking forward to putting things into practice with cocker ‘Pie’ in a few weeks time!’
The launch of Waggawuffins Online couldn’t have come at a better time for me as it coincided with arrival of our new springer pup, Ralph. Due to work commitments I was unable to make local puppy training classes, but Jane’s material has been fantastic and better than any local class I could have attended. I ‘messed’ about with a clicker with my older spaniel but was determined to use it with Ralph from the outset. From using the positive and force free methods from the course I have made great progress with Ralph and with my older Springer Maggie who I have gone basics with. It’s incredible the attention you get with that little clicker! I would happily recommend the course to anyone. It is clear that Jane has put an awful lot of time and effort in putting the course together and I wish her every success with it.’
